Virology - KNAW Beijerinck Premium 2014/2015 (€ 25,000)

The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) asks for nominations for its Beijerinck Premium. The submission deadline is September 15, 2014. The Beijerinck Premium is intended to encourage virology research. The prize is awarded every two years.

The prize is awarded to a post-doc researcher who is conducting outstanding virus-related research at a Dutch university and who received his or her doctorates no more than six years ago. It consists of a monetary award of € 25,000 that may be spent on research at the recipient’s discretion. In this case, research is considered to include courses, conferences, and study trips, for example.
