Another new NICHE tender for Ethiopia published

Nuffic has published a new NICHE call for subsidy tenders for a project in Ethiopia. The closing date for applications is October 20, 2016. The budget of the call Caring for mothers - 'Sayyoh Aysaas'(NICHE-ETH-287) is € 1,200,000.The project will contribute to a strengthened health system in support of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) in Ethiopia and to an accessble, affordable basic healthcare system including sexual and reproductive health care by improving education training, researcy and community services at Samara University. 
 
The Netherlands Initiative for Capacity development in Higher Education (NICHE) is a Netherlands-funded development cooperation programme aimed at sustainable strengthening of higher education and technical and vocation education and training (TVET) capacity in partner countries, thus contributing to economic development and poverty reduction. The programme focuses on the countries and policy priorities identified in the Dutch bilateral cooperation programme. In line with the current development policy of the Netherlands NICHE focuses on four policy priorities:

Water;
Food security;
SRHR;
Security and the rule of Law.
