Pre-announcement NWO call Science Industry Cooperation The Netherlands - China

NWO announces a new call for reseach projects under the programme Science Industry Cooperation The Netherlands - China (Sino-Dutch partnership in research and innovation - Hé Programme). The call will probably be launched mid-December 2012. The Hé-programme is based on symmetry. At least four parties participate in a project: one Chinese industry partner, one Dutch industry partner, a Chinese academic research institution and a Dutch academic research institution. Projects should fit within the TKI new chemical Topsector Chemistry innovations or the Roadmap of the ICT Topsector High Tech Systems and Materials (HTSM).

The first round took place in April 2012. Five chemistry-and ICT-proposals were submitted to NWO and MOST for the program Science Industry Cooperation. Grants are given to a chemical project with DSM and an ICT-project with Phiips Lighting.
