Registration open for event JTI Biobased Industries and new call announced

The Joint Undertaking on Bio-based Industries (BBI) organizes an info day in Brussels on June 26, 2015. The event is an opportunity to get the answers to questions like how to benefit from the Bio-based Joint Undertaking, what does the new call cover and how to apply for funding. It is also possible to get first-hand information on this new EU funding instrument. Participation is free of charge, but registration is compulsory. You can register until June 19, 2015.

The session in Brussels will be from 09:00 to 12:30. In the afternoon, participants will have the possibility to do networking. Registration for the event can be done here. The European Commission has given notice of the launch of the new 2015 call for proposals (H2020-BBI-JTI-2015-01) and related activities. Information will soon be updated through the Participant Portal website.

The Joint Undertaking on BBI is a public-private partnership aiming at increasing investment in the development of a sustainable bio-based industry sector in Europe. It aims at providing environmental and socio-economic benefits for European citizens, increasing the competitiveness of Europe and contributing to establishing Europe as a key player in research, demonstration and deployment of advanced bio-based products and biofuels. The BBI Joint Undertaking will also play an important role in achieving a bioeconomy in Europe.
