International Nature Protection - Van Tienhoven Foundation grant (€ 20,000)

The Van Tienhoven Foundation for International Nature Protection invites applications for its project grant. Deadline of submission is August 14, 2014. Only projects outside The Netherlands will be considered for funding, unless they apply to migrating animals. Funding is up to € 20,000.

The Van Tienhoven Foundation for International Nature Protection aims to promote the protection and conservation of ecosystems and their flora and fauna, where ever they are threatened outside the Netherlands. The Foundation aims to achieve this by:
• promoting research into the causes of threats to nature as well as into activities which could halt and counteract these threats;
• supporting organisations and persons in or outside The Netherlands, promoting the conservation of nature and collection data to support this. Governmental organisations are excluded from funding;
• influencing governmental and non-governmental organisations and individuals, for the sake of the conservation of nature.
