Bart Jansen wins Christiaan Huygens Science Award 2014

The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) has presented the Christiaan Huygens Science Award to Bart Jansen for his doctoral research conducted at the University of Utrecht. This year the award was presented in the information and communication technology. The award includes a tax-free monetary award of € 10,000.

The Christiaan Huygens Science Award encourages innovative research in the disciplines in which Christiaan Huygens excelled. The award is presented in a different discipline each year. The disciplines are information and communication technology, physics, space studies, economics, actuarial studies and econometrics.

The deadline for submitting nominations was February 1, 2014.
