Pre-announcement third call NWO Open Research Area

The Open Research Area (ORA) partners announces their third call for proposals. The current partners (ANR, DFG, ESRC, NWO) in ORA are joined by the National Science Foundation (NSF) by the 2012-13 round of the scheme, allowing US researchers to collaborate in ORA projects. Through this expansion, thousands of new researchers will be available for cooperation in ORA applications. This means that five countries are now participating in the next ORA call: France, Germany, The Netherlands, United Kingdom and the United States. Proposals will be accepted for research projects in any area of the social sciences involving researchers from any combination of three or more of the participating countries. Due to administrative delays in the approval of the ANR 2013 programmes and budget, there will be a postponement in the opening. The call will probably open mid-November and be open for three months.
