FOM announces call for matchmaking workshop in India for data-driven sciences

The Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, and NWO jointly invite researchers for a scoping and matchmaking workshop in preparation to open a joint call for proposals focused on 'Data-driven sciences - computational and data sciences - for smart and sustainable energy research'. The deadline to register is October 27, 2015. The aim is to stimulate sustainable research collaboration between their two countries by funding joint research projects.  
 
The goal of the workshop, which will be a two-day event on December 11 and 12, 2015 at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India, is to identify areas of research of interest for both the Dutch and Indian research community, to specify the scope of this research program and to meet potential counterparts and exchange ideas for joint research projects. The workshop is open to all interested scientists who are appointed for at least the duration of a future research project at an organization that is eligible for NWO funding. Up to twelve Dutch senior researchers will be selected to participate.
