New COSME call for Migrants Entrepreneurship Support Schemes published

The European Commission has published a new specific call under the EU programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (COSME). The call Migrants Entrepreneurship Support Schemes with identifier COS-MIGRANTSENT-2016-4-02 has a budget of € 1,500,000. Deadline for submission is September 8, 2016.The objective of this Call for Proposals is to support the creation, the improvement and the wider dissemination of support schemes for migrant entrepreneurs in order to help migrants to become self-employed and build a successful enterprise (profit-generating and/or with social objectives). Moreover the Call focuses on supporting the networking of organisations working in the field of migrant entrepreneurship while facilitating mutual learning, the exchange of experiences and good practice, the exploitation of synergies and the emergence of strategic collaborations.
 
Funding per project is up to € 375,000. The grant is limited to a maximum reimbursement rate of 90% eligible costs.
 
The COSME programme aims to make it easier for SMEs to access finance in all phases of their lifecycle - creation, expansion, or business transfer.
