Creative industry: research through design: call launched on 22 October

On 22 October 2014 NWO will launch the call Creative Industries: Research Through Design / Ontwerpende disciplines. Researchers from general or technical universities are the principal applicants of the call, but it is also possible for researchers from universities of applied science (HBO) to submit, in collaboration with an university.

The program seeks proposals that show innovative approaches to design-based research and a capacity for reflection on the methods and tactics involved to learn for the future.

The Research Through Design Programme is part of the NWO proposition for the Topsector Creative Industries. This programme is jointly organised by Technology Foundation STW and the division Humanities of the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research and Nationaal Regieorgaan Praktijkgericht Onderzoek SIA.
