Indology - Gonda Fund 2014

The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) invites applications for the Gonda Fund. The deadline to submit an application is October 1, 2014. The J. Gonda Fund Foundation supports the scholarly study of Sanskrit, other Indian languages and literature, and Indian cultural history. The financial support differs per project.  

The Foundation funds publications and projects in Indology. It also awards Gonda Advanced Study Grants to promising young Indologists at post-doctorate level, enabling them to spend three or four months at the International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS) in Leiden, the Netherlands.
