High level advisory group recommends closer cooperation with Eureka

EUREKA steps up its activities related to international cooperation, with the aim to set up a gateway on each continent for innovative European companies. South Korea, Canada and South Africa are already benefiting from Eureka’s Associated Country status.

The move also includes closer collaboration with the European Commission regarding internationalisation activities and particularly with the Horizon 2020 advisory group on international cooperation. The advisory group recently produced a report on short-term actions to foster international cooperation in Horizon 2020, which recommends closer cooperation with Eureka in order to strengthen SME involvement and focus on innovation.
