World Cultural Council awards 2016 now open for applications
The World Cultural Council invites nominations for its awards in science and education. Deadline for submitting nominees is December 8, 2015. The nominations for awards to be presented in 2016 are for the Albert Einstein World Award of Science and the José Vasconcelos World Award of Education. Both awards consist of a Diploma, a Commemorative medal, and $ 10,000.
The “Albert Einstein” World Award of Science was created as a means of recognition and encouragement for scientific and technological research and development. It takes into special consideration research which has brought true benefit and wellbeing to mankind.
The “José Vasconcelos” World Award of Education has been established as an acknowledgment of those who have the all-important labour of teaching the underlying basis of our present civilization.
It is granted to a renowned educator, an authority in the field of teaching, or to a legislator of education policies who has had a significant influence on the advancement in the scope of culture for mankind.
