New NICHE Tenders Bangladesh and Great Lakes Region

Nuffic has published new NICHE calls for projects in Bangladesh and Great Lakes Region. The call Capacity building to promote day-care services and increase women’s employability in the RMG sector has a budget of up to € 1,200.000. Deadline is October 16, 2015. The maximum budget of the call Strengthening the regional EALAN network to build capacity in Land Administration and Land Governance in the Great Lakes Region is € 1,00,000. The Netherlands Initiative for Capacity development in Higher Education (NICHE) is a Netherlands-funded development cooperation programme aimed at sustainable strengthening of higher education and technical and vocation education and training (TVET) capacity in partner countries, thus contributing to economic development and poverty reduction. The programme focuses on the countries and policy priorities identified in the Dutch bilateral cooperation programme. In line with the current development policy of the Netherlands NICHE focuses on four policy priorities:

• Water;

• Food security;

• Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR);

• Security and the rule of Law.
