Dutch Kidney Foundation - Behavioural and Social Research Grant (€ 260,000)

The Dutch Kidney Foundation (Nierstichting Nederland) invites applications for its Behavioural and Social Research grant. Deadline for submitting proposals is July 4, 2017. The aim is to support behavioural and social research that can improve the quality of life of dialysis patients, transplant patients and donors, but also of chronic kidney disease patients who do not receive kidney replacement therapy yet. Funding is up to € 260,000. The total budget available is € 520,000.

The call is open to all topics relevant to renal patients and renal disease, in the field of behavioural and social sciences, and to all types of research ranging from basic to implementation research. Behavioural science and social science are broadly conceived, examples of relevant disciplines are psychology, health care science, nursing science, sociology, sexuality studies, gerontology, social work and cognitive science.

 

The applicant of the proposal (project leader) is a behavioural or social scientist working at a research institute in the Netherlands.
