Nine projects funded in JPI Climate
The European Joint Programming Initiative on Climate: Connecting Climate Knowledge for Europe (JPI Climate) has funded about € 10 million to nine projects to support transnational collaborative research projects on the themes Societal Transformation in the Face of Climate Change and Russian Arctic & Boreal Systems. Within the theme Societal Transformation in the Face of Climate Change three projects are awarded in which a Dutch researcher is involved.

The JPI (Joint Programming Initiative) Climate - Joint Call for Transnational Collaborative Research Projects aims to facilitate research activities in the European Research Area that inform and support societal transformations in the face of climate change and in line with sustainable development in Europe and globally. The social sciences and humanities are crucial to understanding these processes of change.
