Virology - KNAW Beijerinck Prizes 2016

The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) invites nominations for its Beijerinck Prizes for 2016. The Beijerinck Virology Prize and Beijerinck Premium are awarded every two years in the field of virology. Deadline of submissions is October 1, 2016. The Virology Prize consists of medal engraved with the image of M.W. Beijerinck and a monetary award of € 35,000. The Premium consists of a monetary award of € 25,000, that may be spent on research at the recipient’s discretion.The Beijerinck Prizes are established by the M.W. Beijerinck Virology Fund, founded by Mr and Mrs L.E. den Dooren de Jong in memory of the virologist Martinus Willem Beijerinck.
 
The award ceremony will take place in March 2017.
