May 11 matchmaking event for Materials for Sustainability call

NWO announces to open a call for proposals on Materials for (energy) Sustainability (M4S). The budget will probably be between € 9 and € 12 million. On May 11, 2017 NWO will host a matchmaking event in Eindhoven for stakeholders in the energy innovation. Besides the possibility of matchmaking, NWO will also briefly present application conditions of the call and the procedure of granting.

The call will be opened in an effort to create a programme addressing innovation priorities of the Top Sectors Energy and Chemistry and driven by the societal challenge of the transition to a sustainable energy system. The aim is to answer material-related questions on both fundamental and more applied levels. The programme expects breakthroughs for energy innovations from public-private research partnerships and excellent basic science.
