Alzheimer's - Alzheimer's Research UK grants (£ 1,000,000)

The Alzheimer’s Research UK (previously known as Alzheimer’s Research Trust) asks for applications for different grant schemes. Deadline for submitting applications is January 25, 2013. Reserachers can apply for:
• Research Fellowship: for up to three years and covers salary and research and travel costs. These costs are normally for up to £10,000 per annum but ARUK will consider requests for up to £15,000 per annum if there is sufficient justification with inherently costly research (eg imaging, animal work);
• Major Project or Programme: awards are worth a maximum of £ 1 million and last up to five years;
• Clinical Research Fellowship: for up to three years and provide salary (SpR, registrar level, or on equivalent university scales) and a contribution towards research/travel costs. These costs are normally for up to £10,000 per annum but ARUK will consider requests for up to £15,000 per annum if there is sufficient justification with inherently costly research (eg imaging, animal work).
