Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI 2) info day – registration now open

Registration for the IMI 2 Info Day on 30 September 2014 in Brussels is now open. IMI encourages small and medium-sized enterprises, mid-cap businesses, patient organisations, regulatory authorities, academic teams, industry, hospitals and other organisations with an interest in IMI projects to take part in the Open Info Day.

The agenda includes:
• an overview of IMI 2’s funding and intellectual property (IP) rules;
• tips on applying for funding under IMI 2;
• workshops on the first IMI 2 Call topics.
Networking is an important aspect of the Info Day. Registration is free but obligatory. Click here to register.

The goal of the IMI 2 is to develop next generation vaccines, medicines and treatments, such as new antibiotics. It will build on the successes and lessons learnt under IMI. Like IMI, it will bring together companies, universities, public laboratories, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), patient groups and regulators in collaborative projects that will pave the way for breakthrough vaccines, medicines and treatments to tackle Europe’s growing health challenges, and secure the future international competitiveness of Europe’s pharmaceutical industry.
