Common Fund for Commodities: sixth call for proposals

The Common Fund for Commodities (CFC) invites applications for support of commodity development activities in its member countries. The financial support is mainly targeted to for-profit organisations and social enterprises operating in commodity sector. The deadline for submission of proposals for the next call is 30 April 2015. The financial support for any individual intervention can be in the range of $ 300,000 to $ 1,500,000 or an €-equivalent. The applicant organization must provide matching funds from their own resources (and those of their or third parties) at least equal to, or greater than, 50% of the total cost of the project. The CFC funding will be 7 years (2 years for disbursement of CFC funds and a further 5 years for repayment of debt/loans/ repayable grants etc.).
