Neuropsychopharmacology - ACNP Research Awards 2014

The American College of Neuropsychopharmacology (ACNP) invites applications for its Research Awards. Deadline of submissions is June 18, 2014. Award recipients will receive a monetary award and a plaque. Expenses to attend the ACNP Annual Meeting may also be reimbursed. The recipient must be fifty (50) years of age or younger as of December 31, 2014. For the Efron, Elkes and Killam Awards, recipients need not be US citizens. Any scientist, worldwide, may nominate an individual for these awards.

The Efron Award is presented to an individual on the basis of outstanding basic research contributions to neuropsychopharmacology. The Joel Elkes Research Award honours a young scientist in recognition of an outstanding clinical contribution to neuropsychopharmacology. The Eva King Killam Award is presented to an individual on the basis of outstanding translational research contributions to neuropsychopharmacology.

The principal function of ACNP is to further research and education in neuropsychopharmacology and related fields.
