Future topics IMI 2 Calls for proposals in 2016
The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) has published future topics that are under consideration for inclusion in the Calls for proposals to be launched in 2016. All information regarding future IMI Call topics is indicative and subject to change. Final information about future IMI Calls will be communicated after approval by the IMI Governing Board. The following topics are under consideration:
A European distributed data network (DDN) project to facilitate intra-EU access to, and analysis of, real world data to improve health outcomes for EU patients;
Note: topic forms part of the IMI Big Data for Better Outcomes (BD4BO) programme;
Addressing the clinical burden of Clostridium difficile infection (CDI): evaluation of the burden, current practices and set up of a European research platform;
Note: topic forms part of the IMI New Drugs for Bad Bugs (ND4BB) programme;
Development of immune tolerance therapies for the treatment of rheumatic diseases;
Data quality in preclinical research and development;
Next generation of electronic translational safety – NEXGETS;
Development and validation of technology enabled, quantitative and sensitive measures of functional decline in people with early stage Alzheimer’s disease (RADAR-AD);
Note: topic forms part of the Remote Assessment of Disease and Relapse (RADAR) programme;
Identification and validation of non-invasive markers across the spectrum of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD);
Joint influenza vaccine effectiveness surveillance (JIVES).
