Four projects awarded in NWO Astroparticle Physics

The division of Physical Sciences (EW) of NWO has funded four new projects with a grant from the Astroparticle Physics programme. The programme aims at the bottom-up definition of a coherent and focused interdisciplinary research programme at the interface of astronomy and physics. The amount awarded is € 1,500,000.

The ambition of a programme built around the theme "Understanding astrophysical relativistic compact objects through a multi-messenger approach" is to strengthen collaborations between astronomers and physicists, and to deliver a unique contribution to astroparticle physics in The Netherlands with added value for the Dutch astronomical research.
