2017 CEF Transport Blending MAP Call for Proposals

The 2017 CEF Transport Blending MAP Call for Proposals, opened on February 8, 2017. The call concerns proposals for projects of common interest combining CEF grants with financing from the European Fund for Strategic Investments, or the European Investment Bank, or National Promotional Banks, or private sector investors, in order to maximise the leverage of private sector involvement and capital in the delivery of projects, while respecting the principle of non-cumulative award.

The indicative call budget is € 1 billion. The priorities are:

• Corridors of the Core Network
• Other Sections of the Core Network
• Rail Interoperability 
• European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS)
• New Technologies and Innovation
• Safe and Secure Infrastructure
• Single European Sky – SESAR
• Intelligent Transport Services for Road (ITS)
• Motorways of the Sea (MoS)
• Nodes of the Core Network
• Multimodal logistics platforms

The Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) will organise a Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) Transport Blending Info Day on Monday 27 February 2017 in Brussels. The event will also be online via live web streaming to allow stakeholders who are unable to come to Brussels to follow the proceedings.
