Call for proposals H2020 Industrial Leadership - Sustainable Industry Low Carbon II

The European Commission has published a new call for proposals under the 2014-2015 work programme Industrial Leadership (IL) of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation - Horizon 2020. The closing date for applications is September 2, 2014. The call Sustainable Industry Low Carbon II - H2020-SILC-II-2014 has a budget of € 20,000,000. Low-carbon technologies are essential for achieving the EU's climate and energy targets, such as those recently adopted by the Commission for 2030, and contribute to implementing the industrial roadmaps that various sectors are developing in the perspective of a low-carbon economy in 2050.

The Competitive Industries objective aims at making Europe a more attractive location to invest in research and innovation, by promoting activities where businesses set the agenda. It will provide major investment in key industrial technologies, maximise the growth potential of European companies by providing them with adequate levels of finance and help innovative SMEs to grow into world-leading companies.
