New Joint Programming Initiative HDHL call published - Policy Evaluation Network

The JPI Healthy Diet for A Healthy Life (HDHL) published a new joint call Effectiveness of existing policies for lifestyle interventions - Policy Evaluation Network. Deadline for submitting an Expression of Interest is March 31, 2017. Aim of the call is to establish a transnational, multi-disciplinary research network for the monitoring, benchmarking and evaluation of policies that affect dietary and physical activity as well as sedentary behavior with standardized protocols across Europe.

The following JPI HDHL Member Countries participate in the call: Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway and Poland. ZonMw participates on behalf of the Netherlands. Dutch researchers or research groups from universities (or other higher education institutions), academic hospitals and non-university public research institutes can submit an Expression of Interest.

 

The total budget available for the Netherlands is € 750,000. ZonMw wants to fund approximately three to four research groups. The total budget available from all countries is € 7,420,000.

 

JPI HDHL aims to coordinate research on the impact of diet and lifestyles on health, significantly contributing to the construction of a fully operational European Research Area for the prevention of diet-related diseases and strengthening the leadership and competitiveness of research activities in this field.
