Cancer - Extended deadline IARC fellowships 2014 ($ 70,000)

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has extended the submission date for its fellowship programme from November 30 to December 31, 2013. IARC offers the following fellowships (incl. annual financial contribution):
• Senior Visiting Scientist Award (€ 48,000);
• Expertise Transfer Fellowship ($ 70,000);
• Postdoctoral Fellowships for Training in Cancer Research (€ 33,000).

The objective of the IARC is to promote international collaboration in cancer research. The Agency is inter-disciplinary, bringing together skills in epidemiology, laboratory sciences and biostatistics to identify the causes of cancer so that preventive measures may be adopted and the burden of disease and associated suffering reduced.
