Lorenzo Natali Media Prize open for application

The 2015 edition of the Lorenzo Natali Media Prize is launched. The competition is open to both professional and amateur journalists, including bloggers. A jury will reward one professional and one amateur journalist from each of the following regions: Africa, the Arab world and the Middle East, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Europe. Journalists that have written or reported on development and poverty eradication can apply until 30 August 2015. Any article or report published or broadcasted between 1 September 2014 and 31 August 2015 can be submitted.

Two prizes (one per category) will be awarded in each of the five regions.
A Grand Prize will be awarded to one of the ten regional winners for the best piece of journalism. The 10 winners will receive a trophy and prize of € 5.000. On top of that, the winner of the Grand Prize, will receive a trophy and € 5.000.
